Children’s Leader
Amanda Levesque is our Children’s Church Director.
She has always served the Lord faithfully. Growing up in
a home with two pastors as her mother and father, she always was instrumental in the church. Amanda worked with the youth and later
in the children’s ministry.
Amanda married Pastor Joseph in 2002 and they began to work together in the youth ministry at a local
church. They have two wonderful boys and both Amanda and her husband feel the call of God to do the work of the ministry. Amanda is
very excited with how God is using her to teach the children at Grace Life Church.
Your children will be enlightened as well
as encouraged through Gods word. Amanda is currently a student at the University of Phoenix with her major in early elementary education. She uses what she learns to help train up other workers and teachers to help in children’s church.
The children at Grace Life are
instructed through word and worship in children’s church. Children go directly to their class rooms and worship with other children
allowing the parents to worship God freely in the sanctuary.
Children are divided into two levels for easier instruction. Level
1 is for children who have begun walking up to kindergarten. Level 2 is for grades 1 through 5. We are currently using
the Noah’s Park curriculum created by David Cook Ministries. Lessons and activities are modifies for each level.
Classes consist
of worship, lesson, memory verse, crafts and games. Every lesson and following activities are all geared towards the main point
of the lesson. This helps reinforce learning. Children in level 2 will have the opportunity to memorize their memory verse
and are rewarded for their efforts.
Come and be a part of what God is doing at Grace Life Children’s Church every Sunday at 10am.
