Youth Teacher's

Julie Stoner has been serving in some aspect of ministry for seventeen years.

She was born again and spirit-filled in a small Hispanic church in Orlando, FL in 1990.  She served in the drama ministry at Casa del Joven writing, translating and directing skits and plays in the church.

After moving to Fort Meyers, FL in 1994 she became involved in children's ministry at Love & Grace, serving as the teacher for the Two and Three year-olds classes.

In 1996 she felt called to move to Pensacola, FL.  There she served on the worship team as well as one of the Children's Pastors at Summit Park Methodist Church for four years.

She has also served in the dance ministry at Jubilee International Ministries.

In 2002, she and her husband, Jamie Stoner, felt called to move to Torrington, CT.  While in Torrington she has served on the planning board for Revival in Bethlehem and served as their Artist Liaison both years.  She served as the secretary of the Torrington chapter of Christian Motorcyclists Association for three years.  And at her church she has served where ever needed - cleaning bathrooms, worship team, Children's Church, Toddler's Church and bookstore.

She also served with it's Sidewalk Sunday School community outreach ministry and assisted with the production of the church's cable TV show and designed and helped construct one of the sets used for filming.  She graduated valedictorian from local AFCM (Association of Faith Church’s and Ministries) Bible Training Center in 2006.

In 2007, her heart turned to the youth.  She felt a strong calling to minister to the youth and in 2008 she stepped into Youth Ministry.

We want our youth to get a wide variety of teaching and instruction in the word of God. What we do at Grace Life Church is have each teacher minister one month each. And we rotate them every other month. That month they teach what God has put on their heart to help our youth grow in the things of God and to see the Love and Grace of God in a way that is easy to understand.

They are teaching on subjects that are real in the lives of youth today.
